Meteorological weather forecast maps — Worldwide. Compare models at the same forecast time for temperature, precipitation, wind and pressure, where data are available. Regional models cover only their supported geographical area.

Forecast maps for Greece, Europe and the world
Follow the weather on the Greece maps, Europe maps or world view. Select a region, model and variable, then move to the forecast time you need.
Compare forecasts at the same time
Compare the same valid date and time. Models may use different forecast runs; the run and selected valid time appear above the map.
Forecasts describe model grid values, not station measurements. Temperature at 2 metres is air temperature and is not adjusted to a city's elevation. The 850 hPa level can be below ground in high mountains.
Precipitation is the water equivalent of all precipitation types. Categorical snow, rain, freezing-rain and ice-pellet fields are not probabilities or snow depths. Missing values remain unshaded; zero remains a valid value. Colour thresholds are fixed for each field and model comparison. Unit changes affect labels and readouts, not the underlying forecast or thresholds.
Contours interpolate within the available grid and do not cross missing cells. City values use the nearest displayed grid point. Large regions may use a coarser sample of the native grid; its spacing appears below the map. These maps do not add resolution to the model.
The world map covers 75°S to 80°N. The United States view covers the contiguous states; Alaska and Hawaii have separate views. Soil-temperature and 500 hPa fields are not included in the current collection.
Integrated Forecasting System: the intergovernmental European centre’s numerical model. IFS 9 km and IFS 0.25° are products of the same model family on different data grids.
Global Environmental Multiscale: the atmospheric model within Canada’s GDPS. The current system combines numerical prediction with large-scale guidance from the GEML AI model.
Artificial intelligence ensemble with 31 members. It complements the single AIGFS forecast with alternative scenarios and their spread.
Available map variables depend on the model and data product. ARPEGE direct maps cover surface fields; ICON EPS and MOGREPS ensemble charts do not provide 850 hPa images here.
