Zakopane: skiing in the Polish Tatras
Zakopane is a base for a winter trip to the Tatras, with several separate ski areas around the town. Kasprowy Wierch, Polana Szymoszkowa and Harenda offer different mountain settings and access points; they are not one continuous ski area.
