For a northern Patagonia idea, compare Cerro Catedral near Bariloche, Cerro Bayo near Villa La Angostura and Chapelco near San Martín de los Andes. Select the resorts and overnight towns you actually want, then calculate their road connections. This planning filter also includes southern lake districts on the Chilean side.
Cerro Castor in Tierra del Fuego belongs to a separate travel area for most short trips. Do not join it automatically to the northern lake district: long transfers and ferry crossings need separate planning, and this road-only calculator rejects ferry routes. Check southern winter dates and use manual CLP/ARS fuel prices.
Examples are destinations to research, not verified road itineraries. Check road access, forecasts and resort operation before departure.
A base and daily mountain trips
This is a large region: choose one base and nearby visits before planning a longer transfer. Cerro Catedral belongs to the Bariloche area; open its resort page for the forecast and resort information. Separate transfer days from ski days and recalculate the route whenever you change the starting point or order of stops.
Move south through several bases: Caviahue, San Martín de los Andes, Villa La Angostura, Bariloche and El Bolsón. Allow longer stays rather than a new resort every day. Ushuaia and Cerro Castor are intentionally separate; reaching Tierra del Fuego involves a much longer journey and ferry/border planning. No Chile crossing is included here.
Stops are indicative places and road approaches, not verified parking entrances. Check the final access road, winter opening and forecast. The routing service does not certify seasonal access. Prices exclude lift passes, accommodation, tolls and border delays.
